Jets record heading into the final week

The Jets teams are having a great season overall.

Wins & losses are a small part of the story.

A vast majority of games are within a score of winning or losing.

The boys (and girl) are playing hard and learning every week.

A team   3 wins (22-0, 14-0, 22-8)   5 losses (22-12, 26-12, 28-20, 34-0 & 34-12).

A team has won 2 straight!

C Team  3 wins (20-8, 12-0 & 16-14)   4 losses (18-8, 20-12, 30-0 & 30-12).

The JV teams in the past have traditionally averaged about 1 win a season.

The JVA & JVC teams are playing great. Most of the losses are real close. They are playing teams with a mix of their grade level & higher.

JVA   3 wins (8-0, 24-12 & 6-0)  4 losses (8-0, 20-8, 8-0 & 6-2).

JVC   2 wins (8-6 & 14-6)            5 losses (6-0, 6-0, 6-0, 14-6 & 22-6).

D TEAMS

The 2 Dteams, which play instructional games designed to teach the kids the basic fundementals of football, have done well in the pursuit of knowledge & game experience.

Offense was & always is the last thing to gel & its has been showing signs of life.

In week 6, both squads played to 0-0 ties.

In week 7, D1 lost 12-6 & D2 lost 12-8. The defense is tighter & the offense is finding paydirt.

In week 8,  D1 lost to archrival Newburyport only 12-0, & the D2 squad posted a big win with 20 points!  winning 20-6.  Great job D's.   Just think what you can do next year with this experince under your belts!
